Designed for simplicity of use, the e500 offers direct access to
all ventilation controls along with other frequently used functions such
as Inspiratory and Expiratory Hold, 100% Oxygen and Preset Vent Settings.
The logical layout of the front panel and smart alarm systems make ventilator
setup and training quick and easy. An integrated self-calibrating oxygen
monitor with alarms, panel lock button, and internal battery back-up all
provide a higher level of security in ventilator management necessary to
assure peace of mind.
The e500 ventilator's Graphics Display Monitor (GDM) features a clear
view of diagnostic information with touch-screen ease. Users gather critical
feedback from easy-to-read waveforms, loops and measured and calculated
numeric data. In addition to 24 hour trend data, the GDM provides an Event
History Log that records the 600 most recent occurances of both alarm
violations and changes to ventilator settings. The Wave/Loop Freeze with
Cursor function allows the user to gather the analysis of time, pressure,
volume or flow at any point in the breath.

(Cycling-off ) Threshold, Dual Control Breath Management.
 |
 |
User Set Up Functions
Easy access to Leak Test, Circuit Compliance Compensation (calculate
and enable breathing circuit compliance of flow/volume delivery),
Altitude Compensation, Violation Message Log.
 |
 |
Bias Flow
Ventilator-set bias flow flushes exhaled CO2
and stabilizes temperature, humidity and baseline pressure in
the patient breathing circuit.
 |
 |
Non-invasive Ventilation
Compatible with mask ventilation for continuous or short term
use.
 |
 |
O2 Calibration
Automatic oxygen sensor calibration at software determined intervals.
 |
 |
Pre-Silence Alarm
Simplifies patient suction maneuvers. Suspends ventilation while
delivering continuous flow after a planned disconnect.
 |
 |
Preset Vent Settings
Mode, Breath type and settings can be preset without affecting
current ventilator operation.
